Resolutions

So.... it's been a while since I've updated my blog - I have just felt so unproductive lately. By the time it's time to craft - I'm all worn out and have no energy and just want to go to bed. Could it be all this snow I've been shoveling lately??? Perhaps. Here's some non-traditional Valentine cards I made lately using the new K & Company "Cut and Paste" line which I just adore! There's also some Basic Grey here - two of my most recent faves.

And oh! On an exciting note, a friend of mine here is attempting to start up a group of local crafters to get together once a month. She was inspired by a book called: " Crafternoon " - has anyone ever heard of it? I haven't read it but I am dying to read it and do more crafting. One of my New Year's resolutions was to create more and have more fun. Sounds good, doesn't it??? :)

Hi Laurie, it's Kerry. I like your blog. I just talked to a couple of people about possibly starting a knit and crochet group where people could learn the basics. If you do start a group, please invite me.

Also, do you know of any places where I might be able to sell some of my hats, scarves, baby blankets, and felted bags?

I think your resolution is the best one....craft more and have fun. I am finding that the older I get, the less I like winter..and I'm not anywhere near where you are in the tundra. You guys have really had a ton already!
Your cards are so cute. I was so excited to be able to purchase some stamps at 1/2 off from the It Kit store. I think she's revamping her business and offered a lot of stamps at a great price. I have always admired the ones you used on your cards.
I have tons of updating to do on my blog!!! Your new look is great!

Cute little cards you've made Laurie, but then all of your creations are adorable. I've never heard of the book Crafternoon, but it sounds intriguing. I'll have to look into it.

For someone who is a non-crafting mood, your cards are so pretty. Love the non traditional colors. I also want to spend some more me time creating and catching up on blogs and gallery praising on message boards. I find I get too tired to scrap at night as well, we need to invent a crafter's vitamin.
