Home Sweet Home

Hey - I'm back from vacation! We had a glorious time. You can't get much better than this! We rented a little cottage by the lake, and it had all the amenities (running water, indoor plumbing...) but seriously - it had everything but a dishwasher, - and with two kids, - this is my kind of camping!
I loved just leaving everything around and never picking up or making beds. And the weather was great - we spent most of the day fishing, swimming or just hanging out. It only rained once at night.
I caught up on my Solitaire skills (ha) and even read an ENTIRE novel! Oh my God. That was my goal for the week, and I accomplished it. I still can't believe it. But truthfully - I am a real homebody, and I am so glad to be back. I missed our two cats terribly, and I missed seeing my flowers, my yard, etc. It's good to be home.
I was also having fun creating! Put a few new things in the shop today. Hope you're all having a great week! Write me a comment and tell me how much you missed me. (You didn't even know I was gone, did you?? :)

What a relaxing vacation you've had! I love being at a lake-it is so laid back and I love to just sit like a stone and watch the water! This summer is going too, too fast I think. Have you seen the new Paper Trey Ink stamp sets yet? There is a set called Button Bits that would be so perfect with your adorable buttons! You should take a peek!

I missed you terribly! Sounds like a wonderful and relaxing vacation. We had a nice time too but vacationing with two little ones isn't exactly relaxing. :) Maybe in a couple years. You should see some of the pictures we took. Little Steven discovering ice cream and devouring it!

I love those little houses. Are they in the shop? I need to take a peek!

Hi Laurie! Sounds like you had a great time. I love going to the lake. Going back to my cousin's in NY in Aug and she lives 3 houses off the lake. Read a whole novel? I don't know the last time I did that. Love your new creations... heading over to the shop now. Have a great day!

I agree.... "all the amenities" is the perfect way to go camping! Even though you missed home, I'm sure the forced relaxtion did you and your family good.

I want to reply to a comment you left me Laurie Star but can't find your email. Can you please email me so I can reply to you....xxxx
