Sewing, Sewing, Sewing....

What have I been doing lately? Sewing, sewing, sewing.... it's a good thing I enjoy it so much!
I'll bet my Mom never thought I'd ever take it up, although when I was younger she wanted me to. There is something so wonderful about making something yourself with fabric - such an: "I did this!" feeling of accomplishment. Thanks for not giving up on me Mom! I'll never have your talent but I sure enjoy playing around with it.

We're having an early Thanksgiving this weekend with my family and I am so excited! I am thankful that everyone in my family is well and safe at home. What is everyone else doing for Thanksgiving?

Laurie - I like the butterflies best. They are REALLY inspired! You are right - I am glad you are using sewing so much. I just wish I lived closer so I could show a few more things.

I love your butterflies, houses and ofcourse your little button flowers. I sewed alot the week and I finally had to quit because the bobbin kept jamming... UGH! My cousin is coming and she gave me the machine so part of her visit is going to be fixing the problem. lol Have a great early Thanksgiving! My cousin, Kelly is coming Saturday night to stay the week, can't wait. Her husband and son are coming Wed. Then a bunch of us are going to my mom's for Thanksgiving dinner. SO much fun to look forward to.

was it someone on Facebook who suggested using the butterflies on your daughter's quilt? That would be darling!

Those butterflies are really darling! What a nice addition.

We had an early thanksgiving and because of that, it almost feels like it's over. But happy to go see my Mom since she's been in Texas for several weeks. Enjoy yourselves.
