Is it Spring Yet?

Okay - I am super tired of winter now. It seems like there has been snow in the forecast now every day and I am ready for some sunshine and shorts! :) I really can't complain, however - so many people here were without power for a few days, and we only lost it for a few hours this time around. We were lucky. It seems like there has been so much weather-related damage all around the world right now and it's scary what Mother Nature can do. Isn't it?
Here's what I've been doing to hope for spring. I altered another shape from Say It With Letters that I think is so cute!

She also has the most adorable "woodland" set with a mushroom and snail - I want this next! Check out her shop here!

Here's some other fun things I've been playing with lately. My studio has been taken over with fabric - it's my new obsession! The stacks of fabric are starting to rival my stacks of scrapbooking paper now! But I have always loved colorful shiny buttons! I don't think that will ever change.
But I am so ready for spring flowers. Does anyone have any bulbs blooming yet??

Your butterfly is adorable, of course, and all of your art makes me think Spring all year round. I must check out the new shapes at Deb's..love that flower! I agree 110% with you about Winter..I want it gone!

I love what you did with the butterfly from SIWL. I love Deb's prducts too! I think I have a butterfly laying around here somewhere, now you inspired me to alter it in a fun bright way. Love your creations as usual. I saw some tulips peaking through the other day before the mounds of snow fell atop of them. The snow is melting so hopefully we are at our end of winter.

The colourful & pretty fabrics will distract you from the white snow all around! I've started keeping fabrics in the laundry room too. I think we need a bigger house. Have a lovely Wednesday !
